City Council to review Loch Lomond, water studies

The Santa Cruz City Council will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday to award a nearly $1 million contract for a Municipal Wharf Master Plan and Engineering Report and review the Loch Lomond Recreational Use Study. The council will also consider an ordinance governing disorderly conduct in parks.

During its 7 p.m. meeting, the council will review a recently completed survey of baseline water use by residential and commercial customers. The survey was designed to give decision-makers a sense of how much and what kind of water conservation is still possible ahead of a debate over a proposed desalination facility.
