Informational Meetings will be held throughout the evaluation process of desalination as a supplemental supply source for the City of Santa Cruz and Soquel Creek Water District. If you would like to be informed of future informational meetings, please sign up for our email list to be notified by clicking here.
- There are currently no community meetings scheduled at this time. We will be hosting meetings when the draft EIR is released which is scheduled to be in Spring 2012.

Attend an scwd2 Task Force Meeting
Task Force Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are open to the public and anyone wishing to address the task force members may do so during the public comment period.
Through January 2012, meetings will be held at Soquel Creek Water District Headquarters (5180 Soquel Drive, Soquel, CA)
Beginning February 2012, the meeting location shall alternate between the City of Santa Cruz Police Community Room(155 Center Street, Santa Cruz, CA) and Soquel Creek Water District Headquarters (5180 Soquel Drive, Soquel, CA).

Environmental Review Meetings
Before any final decisions are made, the City of Santa Cruz and Soquel Creek Water District are undertaking a thorough environmental review of the proposed project in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The community will have multiple opportunities to participate and comment during the environmental review process.
- December 8, 2010: Two Scoping Meetings were held to inform the public about the project and to solicit comments on the scope and what should be evaluated in the EIR.
- Next Meeting will be held after the release of the Draft EIR (Anticipated Spring 2012)
