Seymour Center Docent Tours
Please contact the Seymour Center at (831) 459-3800 to inquire which of their daily tours through the marine lab grounds will include a visit to the pilot plant.
(Every tour does not visit the plant. Admission to the Seymour Center is required for their daily marine lab tours.)

Large Group and Private Tours
To schedule a private group tour through the pilot plant, please contact Melanie Mow Schumacher, scwd² Public Outreach Coordinator at (831) 475-8501 x 153 or submit a request on-line (www.scwd²desal.org) at least three weeks in advance.

Second Wednesday of the Month Tours
Individuals who are interested in touring the pilot plant are welcome to join us at 10:00 AM on the Second Wednesday of the month:

These tours are free but reservations are required (max. of 15 people).

Open House
Planning for an Open House of the Pilot Plant is currently underway and slated for late summer/ early fall and will include tours as well as a presentation of the data collected thus far.

Paul Meyerhofer, CDM Project Manager, describes a cut-out display of a typical reverse osmosis (RO) membrane that is similar to the units being tested at the pilot plant.
