Entrainment Study and Impact Assessment Professional Services
The City of Santa Cruz Water Department requests proposals from qualified and properly licensed firms to provide Professional Services to the City regarding the Entrainment Study and Impact Assessment as part of the scwd2 Desalination Program. The project’s goal is to determine the potential impact of a narrow-slot cylindrical wedgewire screen seawater desalination intake on the aquatic organisms in the Monterey Bay by yielding data on the species and life stages of organisms that are susceptible to entrainment.

Request for
Proposals Investigation of Abandoned Outfall Professional Services
The City of Santa Cruz Water Department requests
proposals from qualified and properly licensed firms to investigate the
City’s abandoned waste water outfall. The requested scope of
services includes project management, acquisition of any necessary permits,
preparation of a work plan, field work to access the outfall, video and
sonar investigation of the inside and outside of the outfall, data
interpretation, and report preparation.
